Wavemakers Tour
The JUNOS are coming to Halifax, March 20-24, 2024 and you could be there! The 2024 Halifax JUNO Host Committee is traveling across the Atlantic Region to discover the next greatest artists to take the East Coast by storm at the 2024 JUNO Awards in Halifax. This “Wavemakers” tour will choose five Ambassadors to win a trip to the JUNOS, perform at JUNOfest, and more!
This fall, the 2024 Halifax JUNO Host Committee will be in Halifax (Oct 21), Charlottetown (Oct 26), Fredericton (Nov 16), Sydney (Nov 22), and St. John’s (Nov 30) where four acts per city will vie to be the Wavemakers Ambassador for their province. Contenders will submit online, have their music juried, and four hopefuls in each city will perform live for a packed house of fans, industry greats, and an illustrious jury panel. Voting for the winner will take place LIVE following the performance so be sure to bring your fans! The top four acts who perform live in each region will receive a $500 honorarium for their performance.
The Grand Prize includes travel and accommodations to JUNO Week (March 20-24), performance on a JUNOfest stage, $1,000, and invitations to select JUNO Week events.
