lacko Finesse delivers a traditional and raw Hip-Hop sound. Originally from Pabineau First Nation, New Brunswick, he paints an image with his lyrics that brings listeners directly into his world and display the various pros and cons of his life. He found his passion for Hip-Hop through his uncle who was doing tours across Canada in the early 2000’s. He watched his uncle live the life of an artist and always wanted to pursue the same career. His grandmothers house would always be packed with family where they would all be working on Hip-Hop tracks from scratch. They’d stay up all night producing beats and recording lyrics for songs, this went on for many years. His style is influenced by legendary artists such as Jay-Z, ScHoolboy Q & Conway The Machine and his beat selection always consists of the most attention-grabbing production. His energy on stage is electrifying and leaves viewers highly impressed with the amount of dedication and energy that is displayed. He has performed at Flourish Festival in Fredericton, NB for the past 3 years, performed at the Halifax Mosaic Music Festival '22 in Nova Scotia, SappyFest 18 in Sackville, NB and recently Fest Forward 2023 in Fredericton, NB!
