Capital Arts Support (CAS) is a multi-faceted organization whose vision is to ensure that artists and audiences can grow without barrier, creating memorable spaces to share stories and songs. The organization is primarily known for presenting Shivering Songs: an annual midwinter celebration of songwriting and storytelling, promoting arts & culture in the cold winter months. The festival aims to create warmth and community, hosting celebrated Canadian artists in intimate historic venues throughout the city’s downtown. In addition to the festival, CAS offers 'label a-la-carte' services including performance opportunities, grant & administrative duties, and marketing & promotion support.
