Ripple Effect is an initiative to reduce sexual assault and gender-based violence in the music industry on PEI and beyond. We believe everybody deserves to be safe in the music scene, but we know that unfortunately not everybody is. We're approaching our work from multiple angles, including bystander awareness and intervention training, harm reduction practices, policy development, and on-the-ground safer spaces support.
Ripple Effect is partnered with PEIRSAC (PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Crisis Center) the RISE program. We are funded by the Government of PEI Gender | Equity | Diversity | Inclusion Program, and the Interministerial Women’s Secretariat.
