Billy has been an advocate for Hip Hop and Electronic Music in Halifax. As the Creator of Hopscotch Festival and Vibrancy Festival he has ensured the Halifax Events Division diversified their traditional event offerings over the years. After 15 years of Curating Canada Day, Natal Day and New Years Eve Live on Eastlink TV, Billy has started his new role running the event division and focusing on Economic Impact and Tourism within the region. He was part of the team that brought the JUNOS, Sail GP and SHINDIG Music Festival to the region. Luckily his work and his passion align as he loves to be in front of live music finding the next best band, emcee or producer!
