(July 4, 2024) Music Nova Scotia (MNS) and Music/Musique NB (MNB) are pleased to announce the Atlantic Spotlight Showcase export mission during BreakOut West 2024, taking place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from September 25 - 29, 2024. This mission focuses on expanding the careers of developing and export-ready artists from the East Coast of Canada with B2B and networking opportunities, a showcase, and creative collaborations with Western artists and industry professionals.
Applications are now open for developing/export-ready East Coast artists with performance experience. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong potential to conduct business in market. You must be a member in good standing of Music Nova Scotia, Music/Musique NB, Music PEI, or Music NL to participate.

This opportunity is open to 3 showcasing artists and includes:
- Showcasing opportunity at the “Atlantic Spotlight Showcase”
- Additional showcase during the BreakOut West festival
- B2B and professional development opportunities throughout the week
ASSISTANCE:
Through the MNS Export Accelerator Program, Nova Scotian artists selected for this mission will receive travel-related support (economy air, ground transportation) and accommodation expenses covered by MNS.
New Brunswick artists selected to perform can apply to access support through The Music Industry Development Program (MID), administered by Music/Musique NB on behalf of the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture.
