2015 has been an amazing year for Music NB!
We had an incredible launch to our newly re-branded Festival (506) and are excited to bring it to Miramichi in 2016. We learned that the ECMAs would come back to NB in 2017, in St. John (yay!) We said goodbye to the wonderful Kate (who we miss terribly) and welcomed a new co-conspirator to the MNB team, Dawn. Our MNB members, near and far, also had quite the year, including (but not limited to) Les Hôtesses d'Hilaire, Tomato/Tomato, Joey Robin Haché, Tristan Horncastle, Caroline Savoie, Tyler Hache, City Natives, Cédric Vieno, & Earthbound Trio (to name but a few).
This was also the year when we lost a dear friend, Marc Chouinard, who was always first in line when it came to supporting New Brunswick musicians.
Thanks to all of you - the public, volunteers, venues, technicians, managers, our dedicated board of directors, our generous sponsors - all of you who work year-round, who give of their time, who take a chance, and who contribute to keeping NB talent thriving.
We can't wait to hear what you have in store for us in 2016!
