Michelle Morrison

Blues, Folk, Roots
Rôle:

Michelle Morrison is a soul-folk musician from the east coast of Canada. Michelle's music is inspired by many genres, the maritime kitchen party, traveling, the rugged Canadian wilderness, love and everything she experiences. Morrison's songs share emotion through musical storytelling, and her heartfelt, deep, soulful singing is incomparable. A multi-instrumentalist, and fan of all music, Morrison is constantly drawing influence from her surroundings, but has been compared to the likes of Janis Joplin, or a female Caamp or Shakey Graves. Her raspy and powerful vocals, paired with warm acoustic guitar, rough banjo and sweet mandolin create a sound that is like nothing you've ever heard, and home all the same. Morrison has played music around the world, from in the streets, at festivals to theatres, cafes, bars and bonfires. Her musical performances and works invite all listeners to feel deeply and connect in a shared, loving and unforgettable musical adventure.
