Originally from the small town of Embro, Ontario, Katie Schurman (she/her) has spent the last year diving headfirst into the world of music that Fredericton has to offer. With lots of excitement already happening in 2023 including performances at Harvest Music Festival and fundraisers with The Cap and CHSR, she can’t wait for what 2024 has to offer. Songwriting is at the front of Katie’s current work with hopes of recording and releasing music in the near future. At only 20 years old and recounting all the opportunities she is already so thankful to have experienced, she finds herself in awe of “what a year can do”!
