Rôle:

Saint John, New Brunswick-based singer-songwriter Jaclyn Reinhart is a no-holds-barred roots-rock artist. Her charismatic stage banter charms any live audience and sets the stage for her poignant and honest songwriting. Jaclyn’s main influences include Americana icons such as Sheryl Crow, Grace Potter and Tom Petty. She has been nominated twice for Music New Brunswick Awards, for Best Solo Recording (2016) and Recording of The Year in 2022, and this spring showcased at East Coast Music Week in Charlottetown, PEI and is exciting to be releasing her 4th album in the spring of 2025.

Her debut five-song EP Favorite Mistakes was released in 2011, and the full-length album Adventures came out in 2016. Her most recent EP, 2021’s Sleep With Ghosts, was nominated for the Music NB Recording of the Year and firmly put Jaclyn on the Canadian roots/rock map. Three songs from the EP made it onto Exclaim! Magazine’s “Eh List” Spotify playlist.

Formed in 2021, the Jaclyn Reinhart Band adds compelling rhythmic and harmonic dimensions to Jaclyn’s songs, with an on-stage chemistry that is truly infectious and an electrifying live show that is not to be missed. The band has featured at major Maritime events such as Area 506, Rising Tide Festival and Canada Day Fredericton, sharing the stage with the likes of The Arkells, Mother Mother, The Trews and Suzie Vinnick. In 2021/2022 she toured across the Maritimes and Ontario, both solo and with her band. After recently being chosen to participate in Saint John’s Songs of the City project that showcases storytellers' life experience of overcoming adversity and writing a song to bring their experience and message to life in a positive and uplifting way she has been inspired to build a new recording project rooted in the human experience.
